About the Project

This project was established to ensure that verified crisis resources are always within reach. During difficult times, no one should have to struggle with complex websites or broken links. We have centralised these essential services to offer a clear path to help, regardless of where you are in the world.

We utilise a legacy-style design to maximise accessibility. Modern sites are often bogged down by heavy scripts that can fail on older hardware or slow mobile connections. By favouring a lightweight structure, we ensure this information remains available to everyone—including those using screen readers from the Windows 98/XP era.

This project is deeply personal to me. As a trans woman who has navigated some of the lowest points life can offer, I understand the vital importance of having a lifeline when things feel impossible. I have walked through the dark, and it was the availability of support that helped me find my way back.

My mission is simple: I want every person to have the same access to life-saving resources that I had. You deserve to be heard, and you deserve support that respects who you are. This switchboard is my contribution to our community, built with empathy and lived experience.
